FORConn is a State-Wide parent and guardian volunteer 501(c)3 charity which was organized in 1984 for all persons with a mental disability, regardless of their age and preferred place of residence, education, work, play or worship.

FORConn members believe that full range of choice for all services is a top priority for mentally disabled persons and their families.

We believe the wishes of the individuals who receive the services and their families must be the driving force in the planning and delivery of these services.

We believe that all parents and guardians of Mentally Disabled Citizens of Connecticut should work together for the common good of all and speak with one voice to our State Legislators and Officials.
