are looking for parents and friends of the
mentally retarded in Connecticut to become
more involved in the system that supplies
services to their children in Connecticut.
Learn how to advocate for choices and options
for your children. Get actively involved
in what goes on in the Department of
Developmental Services and get to talk to Legislators
about your concerns. We need parents to
help fight for the rights of all mentally
retarded children no matter where they live,
work or play. Interested? Join

a member, you will also receive a tremendous
amount of information in our Monthly
Mailings. These mailings that have all
the up to date happenings in Connecticut
and across the nation when it comes to services
and help for persons with mental retardation
and their families. The mailings are designed
to help members become better informed and
more effective in presenting their points
of view.

Way funding, the United Way can accommodate
those who want FORConn or other 501(c)(3)
non-profit organizations to receive funding
through workplace campaigns. Many employers
